Last night was fashion's biggest night of the year and everyone - and we do mean everyone - was there. Screw the Oscars! For fashionistas, the Metropolitan Museum's "American Woman: Fashioning a National Identity" was the real proving ground:
Okay, let's do this thing. First of all, let's just admit it: the red carpet was confusing. Even the Good stuff was confusing. Even the "safe" stuff was confusing. And all the woman-eating sea creatures? Extremely confusing.
It's going to be okay. After the train-wreck that was the Golden Globes, the stars all showed, chastened and sheepish and back in form for Saturday's SAGs. Christina, Marion, Penelope...it's so nice to have you back!
