My main beef w/ this clip: What radio station could she have POSSIBLY been listening to that would report on a model's 6 month leave - or even a blow by blow backstage report on a runway show????
Since acting talent was clearly not a requirement, shouldn't they have gone with someone of appropriate height? You wouldn't cast a short guy as star basketball player.
@Macloserboy: Part of the reason I stopped watching "Desperate Housewives," was because my suspension of disbelief couldn't be stretched far enough to handle the notion of Eva Longoria as a former runway model. I could rest my chin on the top of Eva's head.
@cirocco: I love how this is the thing that put you over the top. I always watch ridiculous sci-fi or implausible actions films, but if one of the characters shops somewhere improbable- that's what bugs me. Not the fact that one person just single-handedly destroyed a fleet of airplanes with a handgun.
@goldengirl11: Weird things can make certain TV shows untenable! I can't remember if it was on Jez or elsewhere that someone said she loved Mad Men, but was incredibly upset by a scene where the Drapers finish a picnic in the woods. Betty just shakes out the tablecloth, and the family walks out to the car, blithely leaving all their garbage behind. The littering shocked the poster in a way that all the adultery, stolen identities, sexism, etc. depicted on the show didn't. It's interesting what TV sins affect us, where we demand accuracy.
True about MAC wipes. The stinging sensation comes from an emulsifier derived from sucrose. It burns like the fire of a thousand suns, but will take six layers of lash adhesive off in the bat of a swollen, irritated eye.
Okay, I know he's a superfuckingfabulously talented designer, and probably a good businessperson, but someone has to say it...Zac Posen is a terrible actor. Why do people who are so great in other areas of their lives feel as if they wont have made it unless they become successful on the CW as well?
@Tangy.Nihilista.Barcelona: I was just about to post that this sounded exactly like Models, Inc (and we all know how well that worked out). Although, I'm not going to lie, I kinda loved that show. Remember when the young model got knocked up by the priest? Good times.
however, in the plus size world i have experienced a little catty weirdness from other plus size models during go sees. i'm not sure exactly why that is, but i have experienced it.
As inaccurate as this may be, it also looks like some excellent campy, trashy fun. I hope it will air over the summer to tide me over until Gossip Girl starts again in the fall.
@Penny: That show was like Melrose Place, if every single episode of Melrose Place had been the one featuring Krazy Kimberly removing her wig while grinning evilly at her disfigured reflection. Fuck yeah!

Knowing that Ashton Kutcher produces this is enough to keep me away.
Could we also say that Zac handles insubordination as well as Christian Bale?
Mischa, we are through professionally.
