Orgasmic Birth is documentary about the revolutionary birthing method that purports to help women to enjoy the process by tapping into the the pleasure that can be derived from stimulation "down there". It sounds bizarre, but the women in the film's trailer are pretty convincing (it also features commentary from some reputable names, like Dr. Christiane Northrup, Oprah's vajayjay guru). The idea of orgasming while your baby is making its way down the birth canal is somewhat disturbing, because of societal ideas about sex and what not, but relaxing, opening up, and enjoying the ride sounds a lot better than the alternatives. The film is currently being screened around the country, and will also be shown as part of ABC's 20/20 later this year.
