    yes, the gorilla is ALL of our ancestors. if the man had made the comment about a caucasian man or woman, i might possibly accept his account... unfortunately, his brain hasn't evolved quite far enough to accept a strong black woman as a human who deserves respect. for this reason, i feel this man may be even more closely related to said gorilla. a dna test is in order!

And also, to quote Dave Chappelle, THIS RACISM IS KILLING ME INSIDE. Seriously, GOP? Is this all you have? "Jokes" so hideous and just plain dumb that, by comparison, they make junior-high bathroom scrawlings look like George Carlin's best work? When "party leaders" sound like Cheeto-fingered Internet trolls, it's time to just clean the whole house and start over with a few folks with some smarts and some empathy. I know my party isn't perfect, but I also know that it gave us the Obamas, and that it doesn't run on fear. GOP = the leaderless resistance. All I can muster is Feh.

    When I heard the news about the gorilla all I could think was "This is the most exciting thing to happen in SC since Spurrier came!" And, "How the hell did a gorilla escape from that complex? I watched them build it piece by piece -that shit is SOLID."


    Not once did I think about an Obama.

    Also, creationists who don't believe in evolution, as we have a ll stated a billion times, humans are not descended from apes, we're descended from a common ancestor. Sheesh.     Ugh, What's up with white republican men making racist Michelle Obama jokes? (This is hardly the first I've heard)

    Fuck, I can answer my own question again. They're intimidated by her because she had the career they can't have. She also got into the schools those boys can't get into. Poor things are just lashing out because this woman has what they think THEY deserve. She's better than them, and they don't like that.

    So like nasty high schoolers they attack her instead of looking up to her.
