    I thought Teyona did so well on the show in most of the "high fashion" pics. She looks a little awkward in these, i.e. not the most photogenic smiler, I suppose. It would be nice if they'd styled these pictures to highlight her best attributes - more physical images where she contorted her body a bit, and maybe more of a modernistic photo shoot. In the modelling world, don't they normally hire somebody who would go well with the theme of the shoot? I don't think Teyona's the type who would fit boring Seventeen fashion photos like this. I'd love to see her in some weird post-industrial angular pics.

    When did Seventeen covers become a day-glo nightmare with two many words in too large of a font taking over pics of infantalized actresses/singers. Can I blame Atoosa? I remember Seventeen having great covers in the 90s when I subscribed (with actual models!). I would never have bought the magazine when I 13 if it looked like that.

    I'm not entirely sure Seventeen knows what "hourglass" means. I'm pretty sure I'd look like a floral box in that second dress.

    the spread itself maybe boring, but I think she looks cute. Why does every comment have to refer to the fact that everyone thinks Allison was robbed? As I remember Teyona was consistently good throughout the season. Give the girl some sort of credit, geesh.

    @DionneFonzie: Nobody is saying Teyona is ugly or anything. She's just not anything spectacular or stand-outy, whereas Allison was. And it was obvious in the show that Tyra was biased towards Teyona, at least imo. Teyona is a pretty woman, but not model material. It requires more.

    @DionneFonzie: I see two. That's hardly every, and not really enough to get all up in arms about, IMHO. And comparisons are sort-of inevitable.


    Personally, I like Teyona, but I think these pictures are all pretty terrible. Everything's just wrong about them - the styling, the colors which look awkward with the background, the poses, the fact that she only has two expressions... it's just not good.
