    @redqueenmeg: pesticides are lipophilic, so the amount dissolved in water will be infinitesimally smaller than the amount that can be found in fatty breast milk

    Why does the person with the boobs have to change? It should be the farmer or whoever the hell thinks it's ok to spray poison all over our food. The boobs don't even need to come up in this conversation.

    Yay Amanda Palmer coverage! She mentions in her blog that its not what she's saying, as much as she's making light of the fact - if she sung it mournfully, in a minor key, NO ONE would have a problem with it (also, it would be "Brick", but that's another story). Its the fact that she's making light of it that apparently gets people's panties twisted.


    Which obviously I don't agree with, as this is one of my favorite songs (because it IS fantastically ironic and black humor and, um, helps me keep things in my life in perspective).
