<![CDATA[8-Woman U.S. Rowing Team Is Winning In Every Way]]> On Sunday, the U.S. team won an Olympic gold medal in the women's eight rowing competition for the first time since 1984, but that's not the only reason they are high on our list of teams we wish we were a part of. You can tell just from their post-race interview, shown in the clip above, what a loving and supportive team they are. And during their medal ceremony, the women sing the national anthem loudly, and proudly, something we haven't seen from many American gold medalists. The team says they were inspired by watching video of the 1984 team before they left for Beijing, and coxswain Mary Whipple cheered the team on halfway through the race by shouting, "This is for the 1984 girls. We've got to do them proud."
