It seems like the reason you guys want her to be in charge of it is so she can get credit for that accomplishment, and I understand that to some degree, but I care more about the actual passage of good universal health care (like the Baucus bill), not who gets credit for it.
On the other hand, she is probably the best possibility for Secretary of State, period.

But that's as far as I'll go with the idea that Rice has been a good SOS. Due in no small part to her boss's assitude.

But I am disgusted by the knee-jerk reaction in some circles :" NO SHE'S STILL bad." And the passive-aggressive form of "She'd be sooo much better where she is (keep the little woman right where she is please!)" is just fucking annoying.

Question to Megan or anyone else who knows, if she did Sec. of State for Obama's administration, could she go back to the Senate again afterward?

I want her to be SoS. She'd be so awesome at it. But if not, she'll also continue to be awesome as the senator from New York.

Oh Spencer. When you say things like that, you make me think I might love you.

Not knocking working mothers, just pointing out the general "huh?' factor of that quote.
