    But, why can't you pick him up and cuddle him? Or them, I should say. If I came across a baby panda who wasn't scared of people, I'm sorry, but there would be cuddling.

    @dj_chick: I think there would be cuddling either way, with me. Which would lead to lots of bad things. Really, this is why I can never move to Australia. Apparently, koalas don't want tummy rubs!!!

    For a fleeting moment you get the sense that the mother panda is thinking, "Sweet Christ! What is that thing and did it come out of my body?!?"

    Also, I've been known to make squealing noises like that; for example, when alcohol is withheld.
