@shorty63136: Because he's on Degrassi? That's why I cannot take him seriously. Did you see him sitting down that WHOLE performance? He should've just used the wheelchair he uses in the show, no one wouldn't of known the difference.

While he may be a good lyricist (aside from this song), I wouldn't let Wayne's dick anywhere near me. From is impregnation of TWO women at the same time (Lauren London, I am SO disappointed in you...can't remember the other woman's name) that he doesn't wrap it up.

Also, I wonder if his breath smells the way your hand does after holding pennies.

And now he has an album and is performing on the BET awards. I'm not a good judge of rap apparently.

@EKane: that would've made my NIGHT! dammit. When I told my husband that's who it was (he could only sort of recognize him) he laughed for about 10 minutes straight.

I really don't know when I turned into Cranky Old White Lady, but I actually find the lyrics to that song completely disgusting. Just when I thought I could no longer be shocked or offended. I'm also struck by the fact that the lyrics are SO LONG. TOO MUCH AWFUL ALL IN ONE PLACE! It takes almost as long to scroll through that drivel as it does to see all the pictures.

I love T-Pain for the simple fact that he puts his purple drank in a squeezy bottle. And I heart the "Big Ass Chain" I feel the big ass chain is the new clock. And as far as lil wayne goes...I just don't understand what people see in him...They need to check some Atmosphere, Brother Ali, Eyedea and Abilities, the roots, Psalm one or POS.

It got mentioned on ONTD, but when Janet was on stage speaking on behalf of her family, she apparently shot an angry look at her father. Bad, bad blood there.

Also fun to hear that Chris Brown was told backstage he was not going to be allowed to perform his Jackson tribute. And that, allegedly, Jay-Z was responsible for blocking Brown's performance.

Also - I'm surprised Usher wasn't in on this at all. Between him and Ne-Yo, I honestly don't know who's the bigger MJ fan. Kinda sad he didn't perform.

I personally hate this particular song - and performance - by Lil Wayne but I do have to say that (robotrippin or not) he definitely can do some things with words that other so-called lyricists cannot. I'd prefer Pac but he ain't breathin no more, sadly.

I was genuinely concerned about Jamie Foxx though. I think dude was drunk the entire night - and it appeared from his downing multiple glasses of champagne during the After Party segments w/ the Queen and Big Tigger that he had no intentions on stopping. He got real still on the couch for a while though. Maybe the room was spinning. I wanted him to stop drinking and lay down.

I think Ne-Yo KILLED IT the entire night though. Dude was on. point.

I'd personally never heard this song before, and the lyrics are pretty awful, but in general I am a fan of his. I can't help it.

@shorty63136: Thank you!!! I tried to post earlier but it failed, I have a major soft spot for Lil Wayne that makes me immediately forgive anything he does. To me this (terrible) performance is just about him being on his own fucking planet. He just doesn't strike me as the type to do a sincere tribute to anyone, not even MJ. So many of his songs are hilarious and definitely a little off from the typical misogynist lyrics (this song is not a great example, although personally it doesn't offend me and I turn it up on the radio when it comes on). He is totally weird; I'm actually sort of surprised he has gotten so famous because of his oddity.
