I've been looking for a suit like that my whole life. However, I have a long torso so the retro one piece market is off limits to me. Shirring really does create great optical illusions. (And as the article points out, so does being illustrated.)
My figure making strategy: master puppeteering, somehow work puppet in a manner where everyone thinks it is the real me, make sure puppet is hot. Then, profit. Somewhere. Such as.
I've been looking at vintage swimsuits for months now to take on my hols, and gash they are so crazy shaped! Does wearing a girdle make your ribs/hips/tits grow a different way?

2. Become an illustration.
I think this is totally acheivable.
