    I adore me a good gin and tonic.


    On the rare occasion I order a beer, it will be a Guinness. And it better be poured properly, from the tap, slowly so my Guinness can settle, and not from one of those newfangled cans, which is an heresy upon my Irish blood.

    I absolutely hate beer. The only beer I can drink is PBR and that's because I'm used to the taste. Anything else makes me pukey.


    And believe me, I feel like a total hipster douche bag saying "Ugh I can only drink PBR."


    Normally though I only order Cosmos. Idgaf if that makes me look like a wannabe Carrie Bradshaw.

    My current favorite beer is very "girly": I drink NA versions of St.Pauli Girl, Clausthaler, Becks, Buckler, and even Bush, but not O'Douls, which is crap.


    I like watching bartenders serve EVIL shots...


    "Knuckle Sandwich" - cheap vodka + Italian dressing.

    "Prairie Fire" - cheap tequila (or mescal) + hot sauce

    "Ruffled Feathers" - Wild Turkey 101 + a half & half creamer

    I am, I suppose, "girly" in the respect that I prefer white wine to red, and light beers to dark. And I like fruity beers (Magic Hat Number Nine, Longtrail Blackbeary Wheat, UFO Raspberry Hefeweisen FTW!). But I won't turn my nose up at anything, as long as its made well.


    ...Except gin. Gin is gross.

    I read somewhere that we've already gone through the whole feminization of beer thing- that American beers are lighter and more flavorless because people thought women shouldn't be drinking anything hearty, and that during WWII with fewer men around they just sort of stopped making the old stuff.
