    I'm way more upset about Stephen Gately than I thought I would be. He was so young. So Boyzone weren't the greatest band in the world, but they were a huge part of my adolescence and that of every other Irish girl of a certain age (even my best friend, who hated Boyzone because they weren't Take That, was upset). My heart goes out to his partner, his family, bandmates and friends.

    As annoying as I find Jimmy Kimmel, I at least give him this: he could be dating starfuckers and ambitious models/actresses, but he dates funny women with careers of their own whom he genuinely does seem to click with. Good on him.

    @queen_caribbean: Read some articles in the Swiss and French press today, and my favourite part was the same lawyer saying that while Polanski appreciated the support he received, he was "aware that part of that support was counterproductive". Gee, ya think?

    Honestly, I don't think there would have been such an uproar (the French government is facing a full-blown political crisis due to the ripples of two ministers' support, particularly Mitterrand) if people hadn't been so infuriated at what his defenders were saying.

    @wtfox?!: It may be tacky, but it's very easily identifiable. As a frequent flier I really got tired fighting over my own stylish but plain suitcases. Not to mention the damage those things go through in the process. You think those baggage handlers give a crap about where you got your luggage? I'll save my LV matched luggage for my privately chartered jet.

    Um, the "source" isn't exactly helping Michael Bay be "very quiet" about it. I love Jennifer Aniston though, am I the only one? Not in an anti-Angelina way, just... I really like her, I wish she didn't keep getting crappy romcoms, I think she can do better. Oh, and I have a new-found respect for Katie Holmes! I'm not exactly Catholicism's #1 fan but I'd take it over Scientology any day.

    @msridiculous447: It's not that they can't complain, but pretty much every single comment is from the two of them is about how hard it is for them to be in the Twilight franchise. It's a little hard to feel bad for them when the unemployment rate in this country is off the charts.
