I love that he's holding a cellphone just like a regular person. Soon, soon he'll be too important to carry his own cellphone, but for now he still belongs to us. Be still my heart.
Dudes, that is our President. Our PRESIDENT. Seriously, I have NEVER in my life been so deliriously speechless/excited/hopeful/proud/happy... I literally can't shake the goosebumps!
One day I'll be able to look at a picture of Barack Obama in a get up like this and NOT go "Damn, this man is too fucking cool!." That day hasn't arrived yet.
I want to shake his hand. And then have that textbook-awkward moment where I'm unable to let go of his hand and he has to try and liberate himself from my vise-like grip. Michelle, you really know how to pick 'em. Also, how lucky are we that this lovely man is now our appointed leader?! I don't need any presents this Christmas, thanks. I've got the gift that keeps on givin'- sweet, sweet presidential love. *glows*
I am way too attracted to this man. How much does it take to be a White House intern? I can keep my mouth shut...
Sometimes though, when I look at pictures like this, I want to just feed him a bunch of cheeseburgers. That giant Newsweek story mentioned his very light eating habits (no doubt because of his workaholic self-discipline). If he had some more meat on his bones I think he might be even more adorable.
Is anyone else suffering from lack-of-Obama-exposure syndrome? Because I've been missing the constant "barrage of Barack" since Tuesday--and this pic helped.
Now that he won, can I stop being intellectual, with a firm grasp on the factual reasons why I voted for him...and admit that I have a crush on him? After his 1/2 hour infomercial I was never more aware that I had married the wrong man. And this is after I already divorced my ex, so I really didn't need any more convincing.
He might inspire me to comb my hair first before I run to the 7-11 to get cheese doodles--and there you see: change CAN come.
I'm torn -- part of me thinks he's very handsome, and part of me thinks that at certain angles, he looks a lot like my uncle. These two things do not go well together.
