(B) That's true. I guess I just don't remember doing projects like that where my mom helped me. We definitely didn't have a computer and glossy print paper booklet assignments... but that was awhile ago. Hearing children talking about political issues is always strange to me, though I have a hard time putting my finger on why. Maybe because it's really only the parents views and I would rather they wait til they can think for themselves? But I don't really agree with that either because children should definitely be exposed to issues. Something about it is just off to me. But hey, I've never raised kids what do I know?
PS I love kindergarten stories. Mine was "The Spider Wears Earrings" It wasn't even a real story, just a spider chilling in a tree with a bunch of nice things. It had an accompanying illustration.

I do get what you're saying about political issues. Before they can get it, there does seem to be something slightly exploitative about using your kids as a political billboard. On the other hand, I thought this little girl had a good grasp of the very basics of feminism. (We get to do stuff! We're equal to boys!)
