THanks for the Vera Wang heads up. I actually really like her stuff. Right now on Kohl's website (which I went to due to the heads up here), they are having a decent sale on the Vera Wang stuff including the new stuff.
If anyone has ever wanted to try using Kerastase products but were put off by the price, go to the site and buy the discontinued stuff. Shit is awesome and proves that there really is a difference between Suave and more expensive stuff. And it smells reeeeeaaallly good. A lady I worked for had some of their conditioning products stored in the guest bathroom and I used all of them. And didn't tell her. She was a bitch anyway.
Unfortunately, today we're taking big bites out of yesterday's gains in the market. Plus, the fundamentals don't really support the rally we've experienced this week.
The model facing us is wearing something quite, well, let's say diaphanous! -- whereas the one before her is apparently wearing a rain jacket over a ballgown.
Just what sort of weather are they expecting?
(Also, I have no explanation for this whatsoever, but I really kind of love the diaphanous number).
I am probably responsible for H&M's losses since I started a boycott against that store due to it hiring Vincent Gallo for an ad campaign. I refuse to give money to anything related to that bastard.
@hortense: My big problem is how they arrange their stuff. I will fins an item that I love in a color that I hate, yet I am completely unable to find the same item in a different color.
It drive me bazoo. Why do all cute sweaters at H&M have to be magenta!!
@Spaceman Bill Leah: They had a camisole I LOVED once and in order to figure out what colors I could choose from I had to launch a massive recon mission on the entire store.
Also, I would love to buy a pair of their jeans, but I don't happen to wear a 32" inseam so I guess that's not in the cards for me.
@anonanimal: Lately their stuff has been boring and the quality isn't great. I used to shop there more often, but stopped a few months back because I can never find anything good. I prefer buying clothes that look good for a long time now.
That model looks SO PISSED that on the one day that she decided to go for Bridget Jones-style granny knickers, they HAD to put her in a see-through dress.
She's all "When I get off this catwalk, I'm gonna cut a bitch."
@AtomiClash: It does!! Thank you! And might I remind everyone that it looked just as horrid on Freida Pinto at the Oscars despite all her dewey loveliness. It's an ugly effing dress.

Yes, but that price includes a complete loss of irony and a subscription to Modern Asshole, so it's totes worth it.
