    I have had better customer service from Zappos that any other business I know. I got a freakin thank you note from the associate that helped me exchange a pair of gardening clogs (thanks anyway Mom - I'll stick with Merrells) for a pair of Harley Davidson sandals.

    I'd buy all my shoes from them if I weren't so frugal (OK, cheap).

    I've never understood women who look at internet shoes. I understand men, I mean, they are such visual creatures. But as a woman, I need more than just pictures. I need to touch the shoes, to smell the leather, to slip my foot into the warm opening...

    I don't believe "foreshortening" the legs is unflattering. That's saying that short legs are unattractive, which is bullshit. Perhaps the shoes are just plain ugly.

    Puh-leeze... Ask my Mother who is 71 in December about so-called 'hideous', foot pulverising shoes! She still has bunions that you chart the development of the modern world on. She has long since rejected the shoes that she adored, bought, wore and yearned for BUT, she is very envious of the shoes I buy that don't horribly manipulate my feet (too much!) but still look damn gorgeous!


    It's not about taste (or, horror, comfort!) with these types of boots or shoes - it's about desire and let's face it, sexiness and fuck-off/me-ability!
