so interesting, i've always wondered what it would look like to have women be greater consumers of sexual products and services; it seems like a more realistic and positive path to equality than equality through suppression of sex work, porn, and other sexual aids. interested to see what kind of products are in demand, how the face of sex work and porn might change (or not?)

@J.D.Regent: My great hope is that the face of sex work and porn might change with greater women's agency. I think this is a wonderful start. But so pricey! As Megan says, there are probably very few people with 1k to drop on a sex toy.

Erotica and exquisite sex toys carved from jade for example were part of a courtesan's repetoire in Imperial China. I hope her shop draws on that tradition rather than ssome of the more tacky kind of items found in many Western sex shops.
