    I've been seeing ads for those Philips intimate massagers on my Facebook page for the past couple of months. I'm kind of sorry now that I marked them as "irrelevant". I was browsing the website of a woman-owned and womancentric sex shop here in Edinburgh, and discovered that sex toys are expensive, yo! Unfortunately not an expense that I can justify at this time. Give me a few months, that might change. And I don't mean that I expect to be any richer...

    @titilayo: There are some pretty good inexpensive battery operated vibes out there. I'm a fan of this one- $20, hard plastic so it's easy to clean, and if you remember to take the batteries out when you aren't using them, two AAs can last a pretty long time.

    Hmmm...I asked for the magic wand for xmas but I didn't get it (we opened presents this weekend). And it's on sale right now. I wonder if he's intimidated by plug in? I've always had cheap vibes and I wanted to invest in something nicer. Maybe I'll get it for myself.

    Does Europe need to pretend that vibrators aren't vibrators? My local Frauen Erotik Laden seems pretty unabashed opposite the spa for mothers and babies, and Selfridges had a vibe in the window display years ago.
