When I read that TLC is watching Jon Gosselin's every step, I thought, for a half second, that it was the band. And now I'm all kinds of disappointed. #marleematlin
@Ms Meghan: I have read some things - that are probably wild speculation - relating this to the fact that Dion is Roman Catholic.
Whatever happened it must be really hard t go through something like that in the public eye. I'm pretty sure I wouldn't want my personal business to be public knowledge. I have no problem with her not telling the world what happened if it is difficult for her.
In the UK women don't tend to tell everyone else they are pregnant until after 12 weeks. I know my family and friends in the US all tell about pregnancies almost right away. I personally always thought "Why not tell everyone right away? You might need support etc anyway if you have a miscarriage." Thinking now about the fact that you might have to make a decision to terminate or not if there were problems and might not want to share that with others makes me re-think this though.
@applejuice: I've never been surprised at women waiting to share about pregnancies, because anything could happen. It's just a little odd though. #marleematlin
@HenryEvil: my thoughts exactly. Mickey, honey, go look in the mirror. You don't have a snowball's chance in hell with either Megan or Eva. They're HOT. #marleematlin
@bitchyolympian: My knee-jerk reaction is to agree with you. BUT! If Megan Fox really was intent on continuing her trajectory as a low-rent Angelina Jolie, she'd make a vial of blood for Mickey to wear around his neck, and he could be her Billy-Bob! Think about it. Or, you know, not. #marleematlin
Am I misremembering or was Halle Berry herself a victim of domestic violence? Wasn't her first husband abusive & she lost hearing in her one ear? #marleematlin
I feel bad for whoever it is at TLC being forced to watch Jon Gosselin conduct interviews all day long. I hope they have someone on suicide watch. #marleematlin
@mwynn13: There are a lot of rumors about Kanye being gay/bi. I know he's made several fairly strong statements against homophobia in hip hop and in general, which I always thought was cool.
Of course, that means he's secretly gay. #marleematlin
@jigglyball: I think she's trying to refer to his attempt to publicize the inherent homophobia in the hip-hop world, but, being Fergie, is inept. #marleematlin
@gherkinfiend: The best one I ever encountered was here on Jezebel, where somebody accidentally wrote about Louis Armstrong being the first man to walk on the moon. I nearly died laughing at the mental image of Satchmo bouncing along the Sea of Tranquillity playing his trumpet. I loved that. #marleematlin
@jemandtheholograms: I had never heard of Mickey Rourke before that recent movie about a boxer or whatever (I neither keep up with pop culture nor see movies in theaters, for the most part), so I naturally assumed that Mickey Rooney had gotten a new lease on life and jumped back into the role of a film star. Go, old pruney Rooney, go! #marleematlin
@A Small Turnip: my favorite was in Personality Parade back in the 80's when someone wrote in asking how Secretary of State George Schultz had time for both that job and writing the Peanuts comic strip. #marleematlin
@sweet_communist: I used to have the hardest time with Emma Thompson and Emma Watson. I have to admit the only reason I can now remember is because of my friends goes to Brown and has met Emma Watson, and this whole Emma Thompson Polanski petition thing. #marleematlin
@A Small Turnip: My students overseas always got Lance Armstrong and Louis Armstrong confused. Now I have to catch myself before talking about either to make sure I've got the right one. #marleematlin
@ab33: Ooh I have trouble with Emma Roberts and Emma Watson. Mostly because I don't really know who Emma Roberts is, so whenever I hear the name I think of Emma Watson. Too many famous Emmas to keep track of! #marleematlin

I feel bad for James Franco. I will volunteer to keep him company in the private, empty, dark room. I consider it a mitzvah. #marleematlin
