On Thursday night, Serena Williams beat her sister Venus Williams 6-2, 1-6, 6-3 to reach the U.S. Open semifinals. Serena Williams beat Garbine Muguruza 6-4 6-4 to win Wimbledon. That makes the second “Serena Slam”—winning four straight majors—for the 33-year-old. Her first was during the 2002-03 season. “I can’t believe I’m standing here with another Serena Slam,” Williams said after her win.
