    @Nico Deyo: Yeah, it reminded me of a ballet boot when I first saw it too. It is much more curved in front, though, so I could imagine the inner structure going either way. #katemossfortopshop

    @Vivelafat says Sweep the leg, Johnny.: That's what my boyfriend thinks. I, however, feel that the foot must sit a little lower — since in all the pics, it looks like the thinnest part of the leg, ie slightly above the ankle, is right equal with the top of the shoe. The heel of the foot, according to my theory, would sit somewhere near where the stiletto meets the back of the shoe. You follow? #katemossfortopshop

    @Jenna: You know, looking at the picture, I think the line I drew more accurately represents where the top line of a regular heel would be. Meaning, the foot would actually sit lower than the line. I think you are right. I would still like to see a cross section though, I think it probably has teeny tiny unicorns in the sole.

    @Shotrock: Well, saying she looks "too healthy" to model now implies current models do NOT look very healthy, and generally unhealthy is negative. It's not a huge leap to the conclusion. #katemossfortopshop

    I was just surprised that Ivanka's dress didn't have Trump gold logos all over it. Though I am sure to make up for that indiscretion, Papa Trump make sure the dinner consisted of Trump steaks, with Trump Parlor ice cream, followed by cocktail hour featuring Trump vodka. #katemossfortopshop

    @Tchotchke: it was lovely; I agree....dare I hope for a return to dresses with sleeves? We boobless chicks do not have the means to really fill out those strapless dresses. If a dress doesn't drape from the shoulder, surely it must hang off the breastline...

    @JayBird: The thing about strapless dresses is that there is a bell curve regarding the breast sizes that they work well on. This is largely due to that apparent lack of decent, supportive strapless bras for women with something larger than a B/small C cup.

    For what it's worth, my mother is a bridal consultant, so her job is basically to pick out wedding gowns for other brides. According to her, the strapless dress is slowly falling out of favor because most brides don't want to look like all their friends and bridal fashion is headed into a slightly more demure direction. #katemossfortopshop
