@TakeBackWhatYouSaidAboutThor: Of course it should! I loved that show! It kinda made me want to kidnap my own department store mannequin to be my friend forever. Man, those credits were great.
Of all days for me to lose internet, it has to be the day the cheesy theme songs get posted. But even though I'm late to the discussion, I still have a new one!
Do any Canadians out there (or Americans, if the show made it that far) remember "Neon Rider?" Those opening credits were the cheesiest cheese that ever cheesed. It was even funnier because it was obviously old people trying to make a hip rock'n'roll song, and it's so embarrassing. Incredibly, the clip doesn't seem to be online anywhere, so I can never show anyone just how bad it was! The show itself was like Touched by an Angel for the sap-factor, only without the religion. In it, a psychologist took in hardened street kids (young drug addicts, abuse victims, prostitutes, gang members, etc) from urban Vancouver, and put them to work on his ranch, where he would counsel them and they'd ride horses and everyone would learn to get along and love each other, and not have to go to juvie.
The quality of PBS was exposed to me as a young child. I loved Ghostwriter with all its sleuthing and typewriters. It was like Where in the World is Carmen Sandiego but with much less of a budget. Also a quality opening though.
@SundaysAndCybele: LOVE! Man, I had such a crush on Rob. And I seem to recall thinking Lenni was, like, the most talented hip-hop artist in the whole wide world! Those were the days.
It's a little wild and a little stra-aaange! When you make your home out on the range Something something something something's wro-onnng Cause you can't get a ride if you can't hold on.
People are always telling me that I really should put the mini Zinhas into showbiz. They're pretty, blonde, tons of personality, very outgoing, and precocious, and identical twins. Practically a gold mine, right? What am I waiting for?
Noowww this is the sotory all about how my life got twist, turned upside down and i'd like to take a minute and sit right here i'll tell you how i became a prince of a town called Belair.
Haha, how the hell did Will Smith have a succesful rap career.

"Don't give up on a tough teen age!
Give me a call when you need a change
Hey, city kids come on off that street
(Come on off that street!)
Work it out to a different beat
C'mon cross that line
Get on the range and ride!
You got something precious

What stops me is seeing the opening sequence of Full House and seeing that ALL of those little girls ended up with serious life problems when they grew up and they weren't hot product anymore. The cliché of the troubled child star is well-known for a reason.
