I have the Frye boots that were knocked off by Proenza Schouler. The are probably the highest quality shoe I own, and I adore them so much I wear them everyday during the winter (and sometimes in the summer). I have a feeling I would not be such a fan if they were $1,000 more.
@AmericanSplendor: I got the Harness 12R for Christmas last year. They're gorgeous, comfortable, and sturdy, and I never would have gotten them if they were $1200.
Whoa, I didn't know that Freja Beha Erichsen was a lesbian. For some reason I thought she was bi. My girl crush just turned into something a little more intense.
I like Charlize, but I really wish Vogue had given that cover to somebody more deserving? If you're going to put an actress on the cover why not Meryl or dare I say January Jones or Christina Hendricks. SOMEBODY different.
@SevenNationArmy is a ghetto whore goblin: Oh my god Christina Hendricks. I think I would die from the awesome.
But I do love Charlize. We are talking about the person chosen after Sienna Miller, I think this is clearly an upgrade.
dear daisy lowe, that's what i used to say all the time. in college. now i'm 27. the future is here. i didn't realize that the wrinkles would come in when i still wanted to be pretty-- where is the calm wisdom of old age helping me accept this change in hot status?
Has anyone bought anything by Madewell? Thoughts? I am interested in the introduction of web shopping possibilities, mostly because I am far too lazy to brave traffic to get to the nearest one in Tyson's Corner, Va. Anyone familiar with the area may understand.
If that's the reason Esteban Cortazar is leaving Ungaro, then GOOD. At least he's leaving with his integrity intact. She hasn't had much success of anything lately and I doubt she'd bring much to the Ungaro label.
You'd think with all the revolutionary bra designs Victoria's Secret steal they'd be able to make something that doesn't fall apart after four wearings.
"A Pennsylvania woman who patented her design for a bra that would provide uplift and a smooth silhouette, and then sought out Victoria's Secret as a potential manufacturing partner, says that the company instead consulted with her long enough to steal the idea. She is suing."
Don't all their bras aim to do that already? I'd like to know how it's original.

Not to worry, I'm sure the pigs-in-blankets contained cleverly concealed macrobiotic ingredients.
