    I hate how Us Weekly is really going after Kate Gosselin. Why do they have such a vendetta after her? I really like how they got their 'investigated for child labour violations' straight out of an episode of The View.

    @apocalypse-nowish: It's one thing to do an article or two on her but she's been on the cover for FIVE WEEKS and they are completely going after her. They've called her a monster on the cover and said that she made Jon cheat. I think that's unwarranted for any celebrity.

    Wait, am I the only one who thinks that Kate's new hairstyle is way more interesting, and even flattering, than her frumptacular elementary school teacher look from 2004?


    Granted, I've only known what she looks like since she got the chunky highlights, so I was surprised to see her previous, mousey look.

    @MrHaroHaro: true plus given that Robert Pattinson's idea of wooing her was apparently quoting Ovid at her (this is seriously what he claimed he did during their first meetings) I'm getting the feeling that might be some disconnect between the two of them.

    I love how OK! and Life & Style have the EXACT same picture on the cover, but one mag decided to flip the image around. That made me chuckle.

    @save jinger: Same it Us and In Touch!! The five mags essentially have two different pictures shown in various crops/flips. I wouldn't be able to tell them apart on the newsstand, I'm sure I would just think there were only two magazines!

    @TheJacqueline ValJean: I had a similar haircut a few years ago. I thought it was kind of badass at the time, since I dyed it a really deep burgundy and always wore interesting thick glasses, but I look better with it grown out a bit.


    I would probably like Kate's a bit better if it didn't have the Piecey Highlighting Of Every Woman Over 35 In My Small Midwestern Hometown, but I guess that's neither here nor there.

    @tscheese: Yeah, the piecey highlights make it look even worse than it would normally. I would also call them the Piecey Highlighting of Every Woman Over 35 In The Rather Large Midwestern City I Grew Up In . . . especially if you combine them with overplucked eyebrows.

    @Snowbunny: Plus that's a ridiculous quote: "When Kate sat at the edge of the pool, she told one of her daughters, 'If you splash me, you are dead meat.' She was not joking at all.


    So, her daughter is dead meat, no joke. If her daughter splashes her, Kate will then kill her and eat her. That's how she rolls.
