    Sophia's dress is gorgeous - I agree - but does it look like the bodice is ill-fitting? Or is that just what happens when you torque your trunk around like that?

    And classic concert wear is one thing, but WHAT is that horrendous HyperColour-esque fabric? I saw it everywhere shopping for bridemaid dresses. So ugly.

    @Hiroine Protagonist: I agree about the bodice, it seems like it's somewhere between empire and at the waist... I feel like a bit of detailing above the band would fix it though.

    Kelley Phleger's dress and shoes combo would be wonderful for a nautical flag, not for a gala event.

    I love Rita's dress and wonderful smile, I just wish the strap on the right wasn't so big.

    Angela Bassett, it's the wrap. It's too big for her small frame.

    I think Jenna's dress is damn awesome. I could see this working well in a plus size store, too. The pattern visually cinches in the waist and makes her look smaller I think. If the smaller part pattern sat just a little higher on her body, it would be in my closet right now.

    Sophia Bush's dress is gorgeous. I don't support ruffles as a general rule, but that dress beautifully appropriate, cut impeccably, and the color is divoon.

    Since I have a one track mind, I will point out that I love Jason Schwartzman anywhere.

    I cried during Farah Fawcett's special (shut up, cancer sucks). O'Neil was so kind during the filming and she displayed such a resilience that I'm happy for them.

    ughhhh to the bug business. a friend of the family had that happen to him in Costa Rica too...except they laid eggs in his scalp (albeit he did have a cut on his head and he was passed out wasted). still...terrifying

    @paloma loves a wild rumpus: I brought fly larvae back in my legs from Bonaire. When they started hatching I went to the tub and stayed there until they all drowned. Then I wiped myself down with bleach.


    But I would prefer hatching legs for life to a minute with Speidi!

    @fluxus flucker: I soent two weeks in the jungle in Borneo and I was fine. Once my tour group realized that the Dyaks preferred to stand near the river with their arms crossed while we swam in the river. The crocodile-infested river.
