    Carmen Soo's dress is nothing less than fabulous, no question about it. Perfectly accessorized also.

    I just don't like not recognizing Katherine McPhee. I love her dress. I hope she goes back to brunette soon, though.

    Fit issues notwithstanding, Juliana's dress is rockin too. So much so that I almost didn't notice she'd accessorized with black and gold, which looks ok. But just so. I would have been fab paired with just gold or white and gold accessories. The black is just too much for the softness of her hairdo and dress.

    My inner Edna Mode screamed "too much of it dahling!" at #11.

    @EarlyGrey: Hearted for that! Yeah, it's strange. I've dated guys who grew up pre-internet porn and known many who grew up in the midst of it, and the difference is startling. All of the younger guys have higher expectations of women loving anal sex and giving "performances" rather than being truly turned on by the intimacy.

    @smizmar: Based on my own experience, I can see how this would be true. My ex, in his mid-20's, wanted our sex life to be exactly like porn. EXACTLY. And while I do find some of that fun and exciting, it was tiresome to live up to that every. single. time.

    But the guy I dated after him, who was in his mid-30's, was not like that AT ALL. It was more about connection for him.

    This is just anecdotal evidence, but when I was with my ex, I knew that porn had a major influence on how he viewed me and our sex life. I was mainly just an object to fuck. He was clearly not a keeper. #porn

    I think that violence has kind of a weird, tenuous relationship with sex, and it's fashion's favorite transgression.

    I find some imagery more shocking than others, but I tend to have a more loose relationship with this sort of thing, that I don't try to justify or explain.

    Images #8-10 I remember seeing recently, and I didn't really gather than she was dead. The more straight forward shots like #1-3 are, quite simply, dumb. I always hated that Jimmy Choo advert. It's obvious to the point of caricature, which makes it even more offensive. #7 is pretty bothersome. #11 is just fucking sexy. #deadmodels
