My grandma made a sun hats out of cut up bleach bottles and yarn. She wore hers when she worked in the garden. My great-grandma made slippers out of old towels. I'm looking into wearable art made from wine or beer bottles. I've come a long way, baby.

@limegreenandtangerine: A title I'll cherish. I think of her every time I see those Capri Sun commercials. She was turning into liquid years before they were.
@sympathyforthebasementcat: Hah! I'm watching the dvds via Netflix as we speak! It's far cheesier than I remember, but still just as good. Plus I went to school with her.
I had a tote bag made from similar materials I used when I was teaching. I loved that thing. My five year old students could puke all over it and it would wipe clean. Thinking back, it would have made a great bar purse.
Anyone who has a Judith L evening bag would be a madman to sell it at the bottom of the art market. Hold on and wait for it, or forget you have it until you can give it to your grand daughter.

It's also fun to check out the top watched items. Usually it's vintage designer clothing or designer bags, but right now there are THREE Obama-related items listed.
