Never cheated on his wife? Maybe not on screen, but the last scene we saw him in - calling her from a phone booth the day he was fired - was clearly meant to imply he was in a cruisy park. (Look at the background).
Why are the opening credits taunting us if they do not intend on rehiring Sal? #bryanbatt
@vlvtjones: Oh, you beat me to it. It's definitely the number one reason on my list. Although Patrick Stewart wearing a pink beret and skipping remains my favorite moment from this movie. #bryanbatt
Oh how I love thee.
(Note: Bryan Batt's strong resemblence to the Italian side of my family makes me feel squicky about how hot I think he is. This is not stopping me, though.) #bryanbatt
because i love Sal so much (and Bryan Batt, too!) i follow him on Twitter and give him ideas and advice about what to pursue now that Sterling Cooper has let him go. Yes, I know he's a fictional character. Why do you ask? #bryanbatt
I recently saw a great short film by Spike Jonze where Maurice recalls the time when his sister abandoned him at the world's fair when he was a kid - he in turn got revenge by having cops take him home with lights and sirens blazing to scare his sister. #quotes
can there be a larger story on this, though, please? that documentary was AMAZING. my bf kind of laughed at me recording it, and then we watched it last night and it was absolutely mesmerizing. in 40 minutes, it managed to be completely engrossing, heartbreaking, and beautiful. yeah, he says things like this, but then a few minutes later there's a montage of him talking about how everyone he's cared about is dead and how he just feels like he's running out of time to do what he wants - it's truly a really amazing little documentary. i absolutely did not expect it to be so poignant, so affecting, so tragic. #quotes
@this_mad_woman: The guy's human. It's like people expect him to be personally like Willie Wonka, but instead, he's like Hemingway. Artists are people, and as people, they are most often, not their vocation. #quotes
@Jack_Burton: exactly. and i love that he's so cranky and doesn't even understand why he has to write about children, but he does have to. he had such a lonely childhood, and i just have decided to love him the way i love roald dahl. he doesn't write TO children, but ABOUT them. #quotes

Edit: Just realized that what I said might be spoily for folks who still are catching up, so I removed it.
