    I picked Ra'mon to be in my top three from episode one, and I just had it further cemented in my mind as the series wore on.... so when he was kicked off, I FLIPPED THE HECK OUT. So friggin' ridiculous.

    Fangirl moment: AHHHH RA'MON I LOVE HIS SKILL AND BRAIN SO MUCH.

    From around the second episode, I just assumed that Ra'mon would be in the top 3. When he and Louise were in the bottom 2 together, I completely expected her to get cut, and was so caught off guard when Ra'mon was instead. I kept soliloquizing about how that wasn't supposed to happen until my friend who watches the show with me wanted to punch me.

    I think the biggest problem is the constant flow of guest judges who are unfamiliar with the designers and their abilities. If the same judges were sitting for every competition, then they would have known not to cut Ra'mon for one little slip-up when everything else he designed was so amazing.

    @PipPipCheerio: I completely agree with all the judging comments. It's really detracted from the show this season. If they were going to have so many scheduling problems with Kors & Garcia, they should have brought in 1 new judge to be a permanent substitute/anchor in place of the usual revolving guest spot, and then only had guests when Kors or Garcia couldn't make it. That way Heidi + 1 other would be seeing the same thing every week.

    Ra'mon is awesome. He definitely should have made it to the top 3. Judging has been way off this season. I'm really disappointed in how it's going so far.

    I so hope he gets the Jennifer Hudson treatment -- out early on a reality show, but so full of talent that the career skyrockets. He was an early favorite of mine and I was sad to see him go.

    Jezebel, you are my fave blog and I'm so in agreement with you about Ra'mon. I've had the opportunity to work with him over the years in Minneapolis and we were shocked and saddened to see him go, but of course know he is not finished with fashion yet!

    I have to also toot my own horn - I styled this shoot last December with my styling collective Eclecticoiffeur for Minneapolis Premier Publications; the image is by Robb Long and the models are the lovely Lily/Ignite and Hina Khan.

    (I'm LOLing at "Nobel Prize for not stabbing Mitchell Hall"!)

    Thanks, Dodai! I hope we'll get more interviews like this one.

    I was always excited to see what Ra'mon would come up with. It was shocking when he got cut. I just wish he didn't second guess himself with that sci-fi jumpsuit. He could have added to it, made it crazier, it could have been fantastic. Still, he didn't deserve to lose for the dress he made.

    He and Epperson were the two most interesting designers. Everyone else is just so mediocre and bland. Those two at least they tried to mix it up a bit and not be so middle-of-the road.

    I thinkI would have rooted more for Ra'mon if I knew he'd been designing for Target. Half of my closet is from Target's Mossimo Black label!

    He was totally robbed. I really thought he could've won the entire season, he was always more capable, more imaginative, and seemed to have more technical knowledge than the others.

    Yay! I love secret Project Runway info! Ra'mon seemed like such an awesome guy on the show--very cool and drama-free. I still can't believe he got auf'ed :(
