True Story: A local college president was calling Puerto Rican baseball players at the school "foreigners." She had to be reminded that Puerto Rico is a US territory.
@badmutha: Oh, it pisses me off so much when people do that. I love how they conveniently forget that living in the US makes someone from Puerto Rico a US citizen. But so many people in the US think "latin@" and jump straight to "illegal immigrant". Pisses. Me. Off.
Did they move this off 5th Ave? I was there a few years ago and it was totally and completely out of control. Like, took 2 hours to get a city block, being molested by people the whole time. This was they year before all of those women were molested and stripped naked in the park though, so maybe there is better security now, or it is not in SUCH a congested area.
@hippichx sez PEACE PLEASE: Oh man. In the smaller thumbnail I thought it was a headband of some sort. That's gotta hurt. Will hurt worse when they come out though, I imagine.
@Vivelafat says Sweep the leg, Johnny.: Damn, now that song will be stuck in my head for at least an hour. I will swish my imaginary ruffled skirt in my head.
