Alice S. Rossi, feminist scholar, noted sociologist, and founding member of the National Organization for Women, passed away on Tuesday in Northampton, Mass. Rossi was the author of several influential articles, including "Equality Between the Sexes: An Immodest Proposal." [NYT] -
