Polanski Pays His Way Out Of Prison
A Swiss court has apparently approved Roman Polanski's bail offer. The filmmaker/admitted rapist will be released from prison on $4.5 million bail, and placed under house arrest. [NYT] -

Judge Increases Roeder's Bail After Threats
A judge has increased the bail of alleged George Tiller murderer Scott Roeder from $5 million to $20 million after Roeder threatened that "there are many other similar events planned around the country as long as abortion remains legal." [Breitbart]
