    @PipPipCheerio: She stole the entire text of a New York Magazine article, titled "Reasons to love New York" and justified it by saying that it didn't really have an author since they interviewed New Yorkers and that she contributed to it by adding ONE line of her own invention.

    This is the first season of PR where I missed episodes and never bothered to watch them later. I did remember that the finale was on that night but I watched King of the Hill instead. I don't even like that show but it doesn't stab me in the heart like bad PR does.

    @mllej: I didn't watch any of the finale. I am probably going to watch the first few episodes of the next season, but if it continues in this vein then I'm giving up on the show. I'll find something else to watch Thursday nights, like House reruns or something.

    I feel like Heidi should have been disqualified from the judges table for wearing that outfit.

    The rest of my opinions (bc everyone cares:

    Carol Hannah: Should have won. Consistently good, but the judges seemed to dismiss her, and never take notice. Her collection was the most well-made and aesthetically-pleasing, and since none of the collections were ground-breaking or interesting, that counts for a lot.

    Irina: I feel like they decided she would win 3 weeks in. Her collection was monotonous, and no one piece stood out. The hats looked really forced with some of the pieces, and I don't know why she needed that extra element of cohesion when each piece looked the same anyway. Also: her urban armor back-story was blah and lacked nuance.

    Althea: I've already forgotten her collectio, except that it was very Lindsay Lohan 2008. Totes high fashion.

    Carol Hannah's blue 13th dress was the best thing on that runway. I really wanted her to win for it, even though Irina's collection on whole was better. I just didn't want Irina to win. I don't know if it was because of her personality or because I hated those hats.

    Did anyone notice the total bitch face Irina had when the judges were praising the other collections? It was like she was thinking "Are you fucking kidding me? Just give me the prize already so that I can take off these damn boots."

    @hfree: I agree with everything you said. Especially Carol Hannah's dress (the look on Irina's face when she said that their 13th designs were amazing was great) and Irina's hats. I wanted to step on them and see if they kept their shape.

    @ElleL: After being dinged by Tim once for copyright infringement, the natural response is to fix it by DOING IT AGAIN.

    I suppose she could argue fair use, but I don't think she'd win. Not like NY Mag will sue.

    It's especially funny given her insistence throughout the last few episodes that Althea was copying her. My favorite being that Althea copied her oh-so-original idea of having her models wear a smoky eye on the runway.

    @Maritsa: Exactly. She went on and on and ON about how everyone was stealing her designs and how great she was... yet she lifted those words directly from their list.

    This entire season or PR was an epic failure.

    I liked it when Nina and Michael laughed (not in a good way) during Irina's show and the complete forced positive reviews by the judges when they discussed. I hated Irina's collection. Maybe all the black didn't translate on screen, but I don't care, it was boooooring.

    Was anyone else totally grossed out by the completely FAKE cheering and camera-flashing the producers inserted after each of the girls' runway shows?

    We KNOW that no one in the audience knew who these people were. Give us a bit of credit, Lifetime.

    @wordinedgewise: Yes! Even worse, I thought, were the brief interviews with audience members. When someone said it was possibly the best ProjRun finale show ever, I threw my cat -- Kenley style -- at the screen.

    @wordinedgewise: THANK YOU!! I called my mom and told her they totally used fake crowd noise and she didn't believe me. Look at the shots of the judges: no one behind them even looks remotely interested. Only the designers' families are clapping. Everyone else is just sitting there. And we're supposed to believe that there are people cat-calling and whistling and yelling? Get real, Lifetime. We're not stupid.
