    Oh there was a program on the BBC about this. It all turned out very tragic and sad and Who's Afraid of Virgina Woolfe-ish. Makes you glad that we live in an era where you can have a hot affair but not have to marry the guy at the end of it.

    @646Hedgie3: To be fair they do earn a lot of their money, over 60% nowadays, and it's not like any of the Royals will be leaning on the dole anytime soon.


    Also I think the monarch is a good institution as should, god forbid, any maniacal dictator get into control the queen still has to approve all laws etc so it's a good back up, you know?

    Princess Margaret looked exactly like my mother, it's really, really spooky. My mother is also name Margaret, making the whole thing even spookier (my grandmother would even call her "Margaret Rose" after the princess instead of "Margaret Ann"). The photos in this article were so distracting to me because of that.

    @hfree: The photos in the article made her look more beautiful to me. I have only seen other ones where she looked more like her sister. But in the article I saw why people described her as gorgeous. Your mom is lucky to have her as a doppelganger!
