    I flew Air India once. At the time it was rated below Aeroflot. Very loud interior wallpaper, non-soothing earphone music, and the best airplane food I ever had.

    @DangerMouse: Really. I read the article and one woman was 5'3" and 10st. That is not too big. Could it be a few pounds overweight? Maybe, depending on how she is built. If they were too large to move through aisles or perform their jobs, then I may understand them being fired.

    Why don't we ever hear the studies about the effects MEN who smoke around the time of conception have on the baby? This is so frustrating to me. We read this scary article in my gender studies class about how plenty of studies are done on men as well but the major newspapers & journals tend to reject any studies that don't fit conventional stereotypes about the greater impact mothers' behaviors have. They also under-publish the studies on how some of women's behaviors actually DON'T have a huge effect. Scary stuff...
