It would really sadden me if we ever learned he's not the family man he seems--I like that he's been honest about his prior issues with Michelle and the rough patches in his marriage, so I'm not under the assumption that everything is perfect but I hope that he doesn't let us down--he's making marriage sexy. #whitehousefamilyportrait

    This pleases me. As someone who was rather terrified of her own father, I get all warm and fuzzy when I see Barack around his kids and vice versa. Look at Sasha. She is so comfortable with him. Makes me a little teary. Good on you, Barack. Good on you. #whitehousefamilyportrait

    They are TOO CUTE. I love how each girl is paired with the parent she resembles more strongly -- Sasha has her dad's smile, and Malia is the spitting image of her mom.

    I would also like to note that if Malia's dress came in a women's 20, I would buy it in a heartbeat. Her style is so age-appropriate but classic, too. #whitehousefamilyportrait

    say what you will about leibovitz, what i always admired about her shots is her ability to capture her subjects in such relaxed, real poses like this one. even the crazy out shots like that of the white stripes~~ i mean i know jack white is a ham, but she really sees the moment to shoot.

    i don't care what anybody says~~ it may look easy, but taking these kinds of portraits is definitely NOT easy.

    who knows why she's started doing so much photoshop~~ it may be that pubs don't want to spend so much money on her "time" when they say, "you can just pull it together in photoshop." i wouldn't doubt this is a main reason. #whitehousefamilyportrait

    This is so real. You just know that after the pictures were taken, their parents hugged the girls, and thanked them. I never had that feeling about a Bush family picture - they had big fake smiles, and looked as if they were dying to get away from each other. #whitehousefamilyportrait
