Chaske Spencer, you are nothing like the Beatles. The Beatles were talented. You are not. You are in a shite film with shite acting. Not the same thing. Not even close.
@Mrs. Stephen Fry: To be fair, he wasn't trying to make comparisons re: talent, but rather of girls gone batshitcrazy. I actually do feel sorry for these guys... it's not their fault that our generation chose a less-cool infatuation to wet their knickers over!
@Mrs. Stephen Fry: That's true. But that's probably in part the problem- we've grown up with these folk tales of yore about girls scaling fences to get to the Fab Four, that when we hear about similar circumstances involving the Sparkle Vamp, there really isn't any other comparison easily at hand.
And for this, I blame George. You should never trust the quiet one.
Dodai, you clearly haven't been hearing the squeals of delight emitting from every guy I know whenever the Avatar trailer comes on. If I didn't know better, I'd swear I was hanging out with Leo fans back in 1996.
I'm getting a little tired of Adam Lambert waxing on about everything under the sun, with no significant music to make him relevant. Maybe it's just me being out o the loop but i can't think of any of his songs that have been *really successful*. Maybe he should concentrate on that?
Also, how on earth have men NOT been using sexuality in their acts? Oh Adam, R.Kelly was shoving womens faces in his crotch when we were still in diapers. Granted, theres been no mn on man that I can think of, and I welcome it, just back it up with something better than formulaic/mediocre songs, will ya?
re: Robin Thicke and Paula Patton naming the baby so early - I've always wondered how parents to be can pick names out AT ALL before having the child. I've never been in that position, so it's not a judgment thing, just something I don't understand. How do you give someone that you don't know a name? And, yea, probs a bad idea to tell People magazine about it.
@MIXED: True story: I have my future sons' names all picked out. Sure, the father(s?) can pick out the middle names, but the first names are already chosen.
@MIXED: Well, even if you name a baby after it's born, you're still giving it a name based on what suits the child at that time. You don't know what the child will look like 30 years into the future and whether the name will still suit them.
I didn't know there was a Sally's Saloon and Eatery here. Never heard of it, and I grew up here. I had to google it to see if it was a real place. It looks like the kind of place I wouldn't want to go EVER, so I guess it's ok with me if Gwen and Bon Jovi want to sue.
Oh, Carrie Prejean's brother. Not only are you completely irrelevant, you're also completely idiotic. Besides your bigotry, there's the matter of how you seem to expect every married couple to have kids. Marriage =/= having kids. One can have a blissful partnership without children entering the picture. But thanks for playing, better luck next time!
Miley Cyrus, quit using the '80s party as an excuse to dress as a hooker. Especially since Pretty Woman didn't even come out in the '80s (it was 1990).
Michael Buble, why do you assume that because the comment was "bitchy" that it must have been written by a woman? It was actually written by a man, thank you very much.
ETA: Ahem. Just noticed he's not gender-specific when describing the person who wrote it, but calls them "that little bitch." Still, that's ascribing "female" qualities to them...charming.
@heykoukla: i didnt read that as directed to a woman..in act i sort of read it to be directed towards a man. i dont think the use of 'bitchy' necessitates direction towards a women. shrug
@heykoukla: Plus a) I wasn't aware that Buble wrote any songs, given that he sings standards and b) the reviewer was kind. There are entire Mexican and Italian restaurants which are less cheesy than Buble's material.
@rd2uk: I'm sure five different people could have five differrent interpretations, but I think calling a man a little bitch means he's being like a woman. And it's Digital Spy, for God's sake! Digital Spy!
@Hooplehead: I know, right? The reviewer could have said something about beans and hot air, or the flatness of a tortilla. Wasn't that bad.

Not to mention the movie Irreversible. I don't know why someone felt the need to make a movie with a nine minute long rape scene.

um maybe because he hasn't really had any songs out??
His album comes out tomorrow and will likely be a huge hit.

And to the Prejean family: I propose bigots and the narrow-minded be legally prevented from marrying and raising children, ditto on the immediacy.

(Yeah, I'm snarking on a kid, but she poledanced in public and her parents approved.)
