Last night's episode of The Rachel Zoe Project centered around the Golden Globes, and Rachel's new client presented an obstacle: A baby bump. Precious's Paula Patton was five months pregnant, and Rachel explained how a stylist works around that.

Okay, let's do this thing. First of all, let's just admit it: the red carpet was confusing. Even the Good stuff was confusing. Even the "safe" stuff was confusing. And all the woman-eating sea creatures? Extremely confusing.

It wasn't all smiles at the Shrine. Oh, no. There were also snakes, shiny suits, prom dresses... and did we mention the cartoon villains?

Awards show season kept rolling right along last night with the 15th annual Critic's Choice Awards, and though not everyone left with a statue, the night was a victory for mostly everyone on the red carpet.

• Courtney Love, who recently lost custody of Frances Bean Cobain, posted two incoherent rants on her Facebook page today, bashing Kurt Cobain's family and her 17-year-old daughter. She says Frances "was deceptive she lied and shes lying to herself."

The reviews are in for Precious, and though some critics object to director Lee Daniels' "need to shove the reality of Precious' life in our faces," most say it's a brilliant film about hideous truths Hollywood usually ignores.

Reading review after review of both Precious and Push, same words keep emerging: "bleak," "pathology," "devastating," and "stereotypes." However, after reading Push and seeing the much buzzed-about film adaptation, I discovered something slightly unexpected: a preponderance of hope.

It must be a relief for celebs to attend a screening they feel good about. Maybe that's why there was such an amazing turnout for Precious at Grauman's Chinese Theatre: Mariah, Paula, Mary J., Star, Sherri, and, yes, Oprah herself.
