    @ihateyourescalade: I was very hesitant to wade into the Jon/Kate fray earlier today, because I felt like my opinion might have been shouted down, but....


    The common denominator I've noticed in the downfall of relationships related to that family is Kate. Kate is the one who has lost the support of friends, family, etc. etc. If she were the innocent party, I feel like she might have more support. Just an observation...

    I think based on Melissa Leo's description I should have met Christian Bale when he was in his Laurie or Jack Kelly phase. . .oh well.


    Also, Sam Jackson, if you were such a good friend with Ms. Lloyd, you would have known about her involvment with Mamma Mia before awards season (especially as she also directed the play).

    Are Carl's Jr burgers even good or as popular as other fast food/restaurant chains? They keep pumping out these sexist ads with their gross looking burgers. I mean if you're going to advertise food at least it should look appealing right? I love a good burger as much as the next person but if they think some random celeb writing around in a bikini and facefucking their burgers is going to lead to a surge in sales then maybe i'm not their target demographic but then who is? I hate to think that folks are choosing burgers on anything else other than price, fuck some ingredients, taste and quality.

    @Fridge Hussy : You Do The Meth!: As someone who also has a somewhat old fashioned name, I can saw it really is the best. It's rare enough that you will be the only kid in the class with the name, but common enough that no one will look at you weird and people will know how to spell it. Both worlds!

    @hellonini9: Hopefully it is like how Alicia Keyes looks to be in her upcoming film about the young teenage mother, where she plays the supportive lesbian teacher. Am blanking on the name of the film; Jezebel covered it and it looked amazing. No nonsense, but not very stereotypical. I would love to see Eve like this, as I think she is a great artist and I have always found her to be very intelligent and insightful in interviews.

    I definitely have a lot of love for Eve, despite her Hollywoodification and recent lackluster music. Her first album was one of the best rap albums by a female rapper that I can remember.

    Mariah is in it; for some reason I thought the teacher was Alicia, but I guess she isn't in it. The movie looks so wonderful, though absolutely heartwrenching.


    Generally, I really like Eve as she can definitely put out some great tracks, and I really like her lyrics and message in general as opposed to say, Lil' Kim (like the composition of some of her music, but a really crude, overtly sexual message is not my personal taste.)
