    In further proof that I have no taste whatsoever, I love both 7 and 8.

    Fashion designers of the world: I offer you my services. Show me your wares, and if I squeal loudly at something, make sure it never sees the light of day. If I peer at it disinterestedly, promote it to high heaven. Based on the past 18 years or so of my discerning fashion contemplation, this strategy should be solid profit.

    I charge very reasonable rates by the hour. I also accept the designs I've squealed at, in my size, of course.

    Well, Louanna Rawls, it's a gorgeous neckline, but yeah... that length. I've honestly never seen the appeal of any length between knee and floor. Even tea length is just ... blah. That dress cut a few inches about your knee would have been ADORABLE, Ms. Rawls. ADORABLE. And isn't that what we're always going for here?

    @JerseyGrrrl: I think if you're going to do below the knee & above floor on a dress, it should fall in the middle of the shin. And not be such a stiff fabric/line?

    @Eleanor Ramilly: Maybe that's it! Maybe it's the fabric? I think that could be the problem. A flowing chiffon might seem less matronly. Oh Michael Kors, get out of my brain with your orangeness!!
