That book infuriated me by how incomprehensible the ending was.

You mean Paradise, right? Because I liked Beloved, myself. But Paradise? Nosiree...I have a bone to pick with that book:
I liked pretty much everything about it until the last few pages. I spent 2 weeks reading and re-reading that book and was pissed off when I did't understand the outcome. The ending was so random and weird to me. If I recall correctly, wasn't the ending like a poem or something?
I guess the book moves in a circular way because you know from the beginning that the women in the house were being killed, but still...the ending was just a bit too cryptic for me. As I recall, I think I threw the book across the room when I was done then laid on my bed and sulked because I just didn't get it. Still, it was very beautifully written.
Oh, and thanks for lookin at my junk...it's always appreciated :)
