I'm getting really, really sick of Dina Lohan's excusing Lindsay's reckless behavior with an obligatory mention of her age. She's just 18! She's just 19! She's just 22! Look, youth is hard. But if you see multiple rehab visits, obvious (even to the outside) codependency issues, and work problems resulting from unreliability, you can't just paint over it with the "She's young and just figuring things out" brush. She is an adult now, and her mom's attitude isn't helping her to take ownership of her life and responsibility for her actions.
Re: remakes of EVERYTHING ... I'm convinced that Flashdance is going to be remade pretty soon, if only because FAME and Footloose already are. They're the three big 80s teen dance movies for me.
So I guess we don't need to watch the season premiere of Grey's Anatomy since we now know that TR Knight got let out of his contract and Katherine Heigl is staying?
Seeing those pictures of Guy Ritchie attending the same bash as Sienna Miller and Patrick Kielty, reminds me of why I find him so irritating. Despite having a mother who is an aristocrat and growing up in a vast mansion surrounded by hundreds of acres of land, he affects a working class accent and tries to pretend he is just a working class geezer in his shell suit top and jeans. However he made sure he got Madonna's mansion and country estate in the divorce so he can revert back to being the upper class toff he really is when the cameras aren't on him.
I don't think the Britney item is that big of a deal. She is probably in a different city everyday, and just lost track of where she was. She wouldn't be the first singer to do so. I believe many acts will have their current city written on their set lists.
I watched Angelina on 360 last night because I generally avoid her but she does seem to do good things around the world for refugees and I wanted to give her the benefit of the doubt but I had to turn it off halfway through the interview. I couldn't get past thinking that she was just acting her way through it. She cried on cue and seemed to ramble through most of her answers. I don't know. It just seemed contrived and she wasn't as engaging as I thought she would be in an interview. Now Richard Simmons, who came on after her and danced to Lady GaGa while yelling "LADY GAGA!!! DANCE, ANDERSON!!" was FAR more engaging a guest.
OK I live in NYC but I really want to go see Bob Odenkirk and David Cross in Chicago. I looked on Ticketmaster and didn't see any information. Does anyone out there in Jezebel-Land have any information regarding this? PLEASE let me know, I love them. So much.
Am I the only one starting to get uncomfortable with the Susan Boyle narrative? I feel like she is being treated like a freak show now and she is clearly not handling her sudden fame very well (who would?).
I can't put my finger on it, but there's a certain cringe-factor around her since she lost BGT - like everyone is just waiting to see her snap and fall.
@goodgirlrevolution: neither do I. I worry for her. She seems like she was just really a regular gal and has been so exposed and pulled in all directions... I hope she comes out of this okay.

OK... that was... disturbing.

Sad. But at least she's honest.

An actress starving herself? Well at least it'll be for a good cause. I'm sure there are plenty of people who would pay them to eat however.

Damn you, Angelina, for making me turn off AC360 last night.
