    The Muslim products thing pisses me off. As far as most scholars go, there's nothing in the world that's Haram (forbidden, opposite of Halal) to put on your face. You can smear lard all over yourself and then wash it off in a champagne bath and it'd still be Halal.

    OnePure, you're creating a false need and adding to the stigma of using pig products. I've heard of misinformed people who refuse to use certain medical treatments b/c of the whole pig connection. UGH.

    Although I could read most four-letter words by age two and I can understand why someone wouldn't want to have to answer the question, "Mommy, what's rape?" on the way to Gymboree.

    @MizJenkins: yeah but as soon as they can speak you would want to teach your kids where there "no-no" parts are and to tell them that they aren't supposed be touched "down there" by people.

    At least that's what my mom did and showed us videos.

    That's true. The press does ask both Megan Fox and Barack Obama questions, and then records their answers to those questions with the intention of reporting those statements later.

    @redqueenmeg: The billboards on I-75 are insane. Between advertising Cafe Risque and the Abortion billboards, I asked my parents an akward question, then was forced to have the "Talk" in the backseat of a mini-van when I was 11. Honestly, one of the worst conversations of my life. My mom later told me that she had had it planned out for when I "became a woman".

    North Florida- Abortion billboards. South Florida- Strip Clubs billboards.

    @LAkebandit: And in the central part of the state, you get both! It's so interesting to see SAVE THE BABIES!!!! next to ALL-NUDE GIRLS!!!!! once I hit the Gainesville/Ocala region.

    Or, it was interesting, because thank god I no longer have a reason to drive the long boring hell that is I-75.

    @LAkebandit: That's pretty much it, yeah. We drive 75 and the Turnpike several times a year to visit my husband's family in Gainesville from our home in Orlando. The land is pretty, but the ads aren't pleasant.

    Maw-Maw loveshercurves once came upon some thieves stealing from my aunts house she had just picked up my two year old cousin from day care. Well, Maw-Maw had a hand gun that she kept in her purse after my Paw-Paw died. She ducked for cover behind her car and shot at them. They immediately drove off at the sight of a crazy old lady shooting at them. I asked her why she did this and she said, "Ahh honey, I wasn't shootin' to kill, that was just a warning shot. If they hadn't left then and there I woulda started aimin'." Ahh crazy southern grandmothers.
