    Thank you for this - I've missed all the stuff today and tonight between hectic work and my niece's birthday. I totally feel like I missed out, and now I am going to scour the internets for all the footage I can find.


    This was amazing!! Beyonce can really sing, it was so nice to hear such a great song, sung so simply from her, on such an historic occasion. I don't know HOW she held it together. I cried like a BABY watching it and I am amazed she didn't burst into tears. What and emotional night for everyone - the Obamas were glowing, and exhausted, and a vision of the hope and hard work we have facing us in the upcoming years. wow. WOW!!

    that's the best vocal she has ever done. seriously. it was simple and heartfelt and she put her own spin on it when she needed to. it wasn't over the top and all melisma-ed out. she stuck to the melody of the song. she nailed it.
