    I'm intrigued by the Amanda Lepore perfume profile. $950? Any chance Bath & Body Works will do a knockoff? Only knowing them it'll be sweet rice, creamsicle, sprite and course cucumber-melon.


    90% of BB&W gives me sugar-shock headaches, and the scents I do like they inevitably discontinue.

    @Cafezinha: I remember the photoshoot she did with her sister for Seventeen, when her sister was just starting.

    I cannot believe she had a baby when her twins are 14. Big age difference. Brave woman. I cannot imagine going back to diapers at this point in my life.

    @hydrogen_jukebox: yesss! i love all three of those smells, but especially cut grass!


    gap body used to make a grass fragrance that actually smelled like a freshly cut lawn. it was so awesome.


    there are a handful of other companies that make a grass scent, but i don't like them as much. they're not lawn-y enough!

    @hydrogen_jukebox: I would also recommend checking Black Phoenix Alchemy Lab. I know they've had all three of those notes in different scents but I'm not sure if they've ever been together.

    @hydrogen_jukebox: It's not a perfume, but Lush has a solid shampoo bar that smells like grass and it is heavenly! Great for travel too because it's not a liquid that you have to put in a 3oz container in a baggie and whatnot ...

    @hydrogen_jukebox: My absolute favorite (read: the only ones I EVER wear) scents are from Clean. they smell like soap, grass, lavender, herbs de Provence, etc. AWESOME. and! they smell good on everyone.


    oranges + black pepper is an interesting combo; I think I'd love it...

    @elitza is the liver: I wear D&G Light Blue from time to time, and I've found that the scent is citrusy and sharp, almost like what I'd expect the combo to smell like.

    Pictures of clothes on ladies with figures closer to mine make me covet clothing, not the same looking body with the same make-up, etc.


    Models should be dif sizes. Fashion - you want to keep them at a still unattainable standard - fine, I can't stop you there.


    But seeing clothes on someone like Catherine Zeta Jones, Salma Hayek, etc. (ladies with busts, smaller waist to hip ratio, and an ass) make me covet a dress, even if I cant afford. Then I start the scheming and daydreaming of being able to be an escort with no regrets or something.

    @FashionShowAtLunch: Really? I have a bunch of J.Crew shoes that I love. The only ones I've bought that have disappointed me are a pair of silk ballet flats.


    But I think the lesson there is that silk is not appropriate for city walking.
