This is my favorite book of all time. ALL. TIME. I don't even know how many copies and editions I have - at least two boxes. Including Lewis Carroll compendiums and biographies. Pure genius.
I'm also one of the few twenty-somethings who didn't think he was sucking on opium the whole time. Nor do I believe he was a child molester. Just deeply, deeply misunderstood.
I used to love the collages on the last page of the magazine with readers pics and favorite things. I saved two of them and use them as covers for a couple of my binders. In hindsight I see I should've saved all the issues.
I'm so happy to hear this! I hope they get enough support to one day re-launch.
I remember I loved the first few issues of this and then some sort of strange makeover happened where it had the same name but the original staff was gone and the content was crap.
It gave me PTSD flashbacks to the whole Sassy Magazine-taken-over-by-YM betrayal, so I never went back.
@Your Screenplay Sucks: I remember that too. Not only was the content crap after the switch, but the layout was shitastic. But the first few issues were, as you said, quite wonderful.

Honey makes me think of that awful Jessica Alba movie, though. (I was in middle school, don't judge.)
