    Wow, does anyone remember when Jessica Biel used to model for L'Oreal back in the day? She was the "face" of the now-defunct "Open" brand of drugstore box home haircoloring kits, and their old "Pure Zone" skincare line for teens or something. Man I feel old. This was during the Pre-Beyonce days when their main model seemed to Laetitia Casta. J Lo and Jessica Alba used to model for them too!!!

    With God as my witness, I had not the vaguest idea that Azzedine Alaïa is a dude. I'd just seen the name a few times here and there, and I was like "that's a pretty name."


    I think this wins me some sort of cultural insensitivity award. I am sorry, guys.

    I love this quote from the Agent Provocateur guy: "I don't buy into all this brand-identity bollocks - the Gucci lifestyle, the Prada lifestyle. What does that mean? That you're a rich, bored idiot with no soul? It's just emperor's new clothes bullshit."


    And I was right there with him up 'til the point where he started talking about how his own brand is about "an attitude" and "empowerment." Give me a break.
