    For example, he says "shut up" if he's on the phone. Then I say to him, "you'll be out on your own with just a bag if you speak to me like that.


    Is it just me or does this statement give the impression this has happened more than once? All he's learned is that she'll make an empty threat if he mouths off.


    This is one of the most incredible examples I've ever seen of someone who has gone out of her way to use her childhood to justify a complete lack of parenting effort.

    None of this stuff seems titillating to me anymore. We've been barraged with Lohans and Geldofs and Cyruses and Spearses for so long that they all start to look alike--it's one long parade of obscenely wealthy teenagers who come into the public eye with no discernable talent and the goading of family members.
