@MatthewDeeson: Absolutely agree... he's clearly just having trouble reading bad handwriting, and also he hesitated before reading the last name (appropriately not saying it aloud).
i'm glad i'm not alone in my inappropriate desires for levi johnston. i come from a long line of rednecks, and while i have no desire to actually date someone like that i am strongly and inexplicably attracted to way too many levi johnston types.
Call me crazy, but I don't find Levi the least bit attractive. He's very John Meyerish, but supremely awkward and seems lacking in the brain and personality departments. I mean, really. The whole interview, he just acted shy/bored and said, "yeah" to pretty much everything Kathy said.
Why am I overcome by an intense urge to hop on Levi's dick? This is not like me. But the more he talked, the more I wanted to lap fuck him. WHAT IS HAPPENING?!
@HappyLand: Molly Shannon was on a talk show some years ago and told a story about her cab driver, who was decidedly not intelligent, but that made him hotter. She explained it as "I just wanted to fuck him smart." (As in, she wanted to fuck him until he was smart.) This phenomenon is also known as the "Levi Johnson Effect".
Lol I totally watched this last night. Kathy tried at least 30 times to get the parents to tell her how much it costs to enter a pageant and the parents kept dodging the issue and then they finally were like it's up to $1000 to enter and Kathy was like but they only win like $500 lol BINGO. Also Kathy questioned what could you judge a 2 week old in a pageant? Ability to keep eyes open? Ability to hold head up? Poop?
I produced and directed a production of VDay Vagina Monologues in my very conservative city five years ago. We had a packed house. A weeping woman left me a message on my answering machine thanking me for bringing it to the stage. I stood in the spotlight and said 'cunt' over and over again, and somewhere in the audience, my own mother was yelling 'cunt' with the rest of them. That was a great night in my life.
There's a little secret goal I have, which I think you Jezzies would appreciate. One day, when I get my hands on a helicopter..owning it or flying it for someone who understands, I want to go rescue women and girls who are imprisoned in such situations.
I also have a savings account that I put money in whenever I get the chance, any small amount of leftover money I have goes in there, so I can go and buy their freedom if I have to when I can actually do this. It's kind of silly and small and probably ineffectual, overall, in the big picture that is this global problem, I know, but if I can rescue one person...all my training and effort will be worth it for me.
I have a ways to go and many hours to fly before I can even think about being able to get my hands on a helicopter and start work in an area where I can make a difference, but it's a goal of mine, and it will happen.
@rotorgirl: I hope for you! That's a wonderful goal and I am proud of you just for wanting it.
One of my favorite parables (or whatever they are called) is the story of the starfish. I'll paraphrase it; even if you know it, I love it so much. It's seriously one of the themes of my life.
After a high tide, there were hundreds of starfish on the beach. A man was walking down the beach, tossing starfish back into the water. Another man saw him and asked,
"Why are you doing that? There's no way you can make a difference. There are too many, and they will die." The starfish-throwing man tossed another starfish into the water and smiled.
"Made a difference to that one!"
And that's all any of us can do. We can make a difference to that one, and it can never be enough to save them all, but we will change things, little by little.
